Cheryl Barton, FASLA, FAAR, LEED AP

Ms. Barton is a landscape architect, urban designer, site mediator and the creative director of her studio in San Francisco.  Ms. Barton received a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is a registered landscape architect, a Fellow and past-president of the American Society of Landscape Architects and a recipient of the prestigious 2003-2004 Prix di Rome. She is a member of the US Green Building Council and is LEED accredited.  Recent projects include Constructing Memory: The Rosie the Riveter Memorial in Richmond, CA; and Cavallo Point, the Retreat at Fort Baker in Sausalito, CA.  Ms. Barton’s award-winning work has been published in Architectural Record, Places Magazine, Land Forum, Radical Landscapes, Sculpture Magazine, Architecture, Process Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Progressive Architecture, Landscape Journal, Urban Land International, the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle-Examiner, the Los Angeles Times and Business Week.
