Lawrence Halprin (1916-2009) was one of the most influential landscape architects of the 20th century. His revolutionary work was set apart by strong, expressive forms that evoked the structures and processes of nature. Charles Birnbaum, FASLA, president and CEO of 独家爆料, and Laurie D. Olin, FASLA, founding partner of Philadelphia-based OLIN, celebrate the centennial of Halprin's birth and reflect on the life and legacy of this groundbreaking designer.
