Call for Nominations - 2023 Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize
ұ is pleased to announce that planning is now underway for round two of the Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize, which will be awarded on October 17, 2023. Nominations will soon be solicited from an international group of experts in the field, including designers, critics, historians, and academics in landscape architecture and related fields (deadline for submissions is January 30, 2023). ұ (ұ) is home to the ұ; the inaugural award was given to landscape architect Julie Bargmann, who was selected from more than 200 nominees from around the world.
Administrators of the ұ are seeking the greatest possible geographical and cultural diversity in the pool of nominators. There is a special interest in recruiting nominators from areas of the world historically underrepresented in the sources of information about landscape design, such as conferences, exhibitions, and publications. Particular emphasis is being placed on expanding the pool of nominators and nominees from Africa, South and South East Asia, and South America. If you or anyone you know might help us achieve this objective, please send suggestions to the ұ Curator, John Beardsley (john@tclf.org). For potential nominators, submit names and contact information if possible.
For further information, see the Nominee Qualifications, Jury Process and Governance section of the ұ website.
Deadline for submissions is January 30, 2023.
