The media and general public can help to preserve this horticultural treasure by asking County officials to recognize the tree as a local landmark. Contact the County and let them know that you want the tree to be recognized and protected.

Get Involved

The Live Oak Neighbors and the Live Oak History Project work to preserve and protect the tree and local historical homes, and to share the history of the area.
