There was a packed house October 5, 2012 at the Museum of the City of New York for the conference 鈥淏ridging the Nature-Culture Divide II: Stewardship of Central Park鈥檚 Woodlands.鈥 The conference, co-sponsored with the Central Park Conservancy, brought in speakers from New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia and elsewhere who examined the critical design and maintenance issues faced at some of the nation鈥檚 premiere urban woodlands. These well-illustrated, compelling and entertaining presentations demonstrated that the natural look doesn't come easy. Now, video of the entire proceedings is available.
