Although Julie Donnell is not a landscape architect, her work as the founder and former president of the Friends of the Parks of Allen County, Indiana, and her tenure as a board member of 独家爆料 have fostered her enormous appreciation and respect for the profession that Cornelia Hahn Oberlander so magnificently practiced. Over the years, the organization that Ms. Donnell founded has collaborated successfully with the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, to produce seven Cultural Landscape Reports for the city鈥檚 park and boulevard system, designed by George Kessler, and has implemented numerous projects contained in those reports. A musician and translator, she teaches in the departments of French and music at Purdue University Fort Wayne. She has participated on the board of Indiana Landmarks and on the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Historic Preservation Review Board. Ms. Donnell will always be grateful to the many landscape architects who have worked on projects in Fort Wayne, and for the generosity of those who have visited the city to share their insights and experience.
